Wellness Fund
Concerned by the rising HIV/AIDS statistics
(28% in 2007), parties of the National
Bargaining Council for the Road Freight
Industry negotiated an agreement to provide
anti-retroviral treatment, training and
education to road freight industry employees
who fall within the Council’s registered
scope. This agreement was promulgated by the
Minister of Labour on
9 July 2007.
